Vihaan Vee (he/him) is an Ambedkarite queer feminist trans man who refuses to pick just one fight when the world needs many. He has spent the last decade working somewhere between movement spaces, spreadsheets, and protest marches.

Currently, he works at Azim Premji Foundation as a Consultant (Grant Management), where he supports gender and sexual minority organisations with funding, strategy, and amplifying their impact.
Vihaan’s been part of participatory grantmaking spaces too, such as the Grant Making Panel of the International Trans Fund, Board of Directors of Aavaazein Foundation, and Selection Committee of Urban Movement Innovation (UMI). He has served on the Steering Committee of Global Action for Trans Equality, a global organisation working on trans rights. He is also a board member of several grassroots groups like the Jeeva Trust and Humsafar- Women, Youth and Queer Centre. Additionally, he is an Advisory board member of Youth for Climate India, and The YP Foundation where he helps them in shaping their strategies and raising resources.
Who is Vihaan?
A social worker, writer, and organiser, Vihaan works at the intersections of gender and sexuality, caste, climate justice, youth leadership, mental health, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
He’s also the creator and host of MasculiniTea, a podcast about transmasculine lives, masculinities, and all the awkward, tender, funny, and political things that come with it.
With a Master’s in Social Work from TISS Mumbai and training from Harvard Kennedy School (leadership) and Mariwala Health Initiative (queer affirmative counselling), Vihaan balances movement work with a love for community building, local snacks, and memes about climate deadlines. Mostly, he’s here to help build spaces where people can show up fully as they are and imagine something better together.
